Big Block Headers
I have a 454 in my 70 c10 and the drivers side headers beat the heck out of my frame (divots and all in header). Is there a perfect for this model? The PO releived the frame about 1/4" but it still hits for a few seconds when taking off.
Any idea on replacement headers or? |

Re: Big Block Headers
I'm running flowmaster ceramic coated in my '70 factory 402 BB. Only fit problem was with the Edelbroke Al. heads, had to cut header by each bottom head bolt. But they have plenty of room around frame area. might have some pic's if you need them

Re: Big Block Headers
I had a set of Flowtechs on mine and they didn't touch anywhere.
I took them off for a set of clipsters

Re: Big Block Headers
I had the Summit standard BBC headers on mine. They fit the C30 without nearing the frame.
I had to swap them for Hedman 2" primaries, and now they're sitting in the spare parts bin. You can have 'em in you want 'em. |
