NY WTB: Wheels

Looking for a set of wheels for my K10 project.

I am looking for a set of the 6-Lug Deep 15x8(?) wheels that take the dog dish caps. I know they are very hard to come by.

Also considering a set of later 70's-80's 15x8 Rallys with trim rings.

EDIT: Id go for a set of 6 Lug Aluminum slots as well.

dug one out out of my storage shed, took a pic of the one, otheres are in similar shape and condition. starting to grab a little surface rust, but will clean up nicely

I am not even sure if they made 16x8. They made 16" and 15X8 in the stock style. I might be able to put together another set of the 15x8 stockers, but the price of the wheels plus shipping gets quite spendy.

This is the style i am thinking of. Someone will chime in with the actual size, i think maybe theyre 16x8.25" or something

I would guess those are 15x8. They had a 16.5x 8.25 or 9.75 8 lug and i have seen 16.5 6 lug in the 9.75 but that is very uncommon.

From what I understand they were available on K5's in the early 70's

Those look like these: 15x8 (same b/s as ralleys).
They are a little hard to find, so everyone wants them...and they are a little spendy.

Yes that is exactly what I am looking for. They really look awesome with BFG's and those blue bowtie caps. Anyone have less than a set of four, like one or two? I'd really like to try and put together a set of those

Hi, I know where you can find what your looking for www.wheelmasterclassics.com has a few sets little out of the way,but he runs them for trueness you will get good stuff as for the dog dish hubcaps happy hunting....I will keep a eye out up here!!!! Chisler

I know i have some here. I would have to get $60 each plus shipping. As i say, they are kind of spendy and hard to find.

This is a picture from my 1968 K10 with 16.5 by 10 ??? wheels I was told they are original to the truck so any input would help. I thought they might be an example of the wheels you are talking about.

I am serious, i'll take any that you have even if its not a set of 4, just as long as they dont look bent or really banged up or anything. Id rather spend the money on those and repaint them than some new set of M/T's or something. Thanks Eric, i'll hang tight and wait for some pictures.

Those 8.25 x 16.5s were the optional wheel for K/5s and K/10s. It wasn't until later that the 8 x 15s became an option. They were available aftermarket,though,even prior to '67 and were made by the same company as what GM offered.

I am also interested in purchasing a set of these wheels after ysf200p has his of course.

Finally dug them out... I don't see any damage. They will need blasting and paint. They are stamped 15x8jj. All have the same offset. The backs have scale rust of course.
The bad news, these are $38 each to ship.
The caps i thought i had i must have sold. I do have 2 nos yellow bowtie and 2 nice used fronts that i will offer if the wheels sell. They won't be real cheap, but they are nice.
