Being a person that has never been able to leave anything stock or restore to stock... I think the Camaro wheels look sweet!

I love the Camaro wheels, but I don't think the backspacing or hub will work/look right. Pick an aftermarket rim that does fit our trucks and save yourself a lot of heartache.

Re: 2010 Comaro Rims on a '69......what do you think?

Thanks for the pic, N2Trux. That is exactly the look I am going for.

The Cragar's are great wheels. these are 17x8 in the front and 17x9 in the back.
But I am changing the look to a more modern look, hence removing all the trim except grill and bumpers and I want a modern wheel. I know these might not work, but I am daydreaming here.

grey silver pewter..... Please don't overlook the pearl light brown they're putting on the newer silverados! If my truck wasn't an original black truck it'd be getting that color.
That is very close to what I am going for.... alittle too much brown though. I also like the color of Accuair's Sexual Chocolate......for some reason.

Re: 2010 Comaro Rims on a '69......what do you think?

Being a person that has never been able to leave anything stock or restore to stock,I think the Cragars look perfect. I think the truck looks perfect. I'd try to find a way to be content with what I had. I don't like the flat faced wheels they use these days. Cool wheels to me is all about the dish...3D all the way. The custom wheels we've seen on American Iron goes back to drag racing. You don't see tall flat faced wheels w/no sidewall tires on any American-based motorsport. These newfangled wheels go back to Porches,Ferraris, and Grand Prix (etc) racing...nothing American-like about them and out of place on vintage American Iron. It's like the difference between Harleys and crotch rockets. They don't mix and both cool in their own category.

I like the camaro wheels, but worry about them fitting for you, I am not a big Cragar fan, I always kinda liked the Ansen Sprints better for the retro wheels, but I guess thats besides the point.

I like the way the Camaro wheels are a different look for the trucks and not so cookie cutter. The 5 spoke wheel has a look that pays homage to the classic look but brings it up to date. I hope you do it, it would be a nice change of pace.

Count my vote for the Cragars. If you're tired of them, PM me when/if you're ready to sell.

The bottom line is it's your truck to do as you want. Be differant is always hard no matter what it is. To personalize your truck is the best way to be and if the masses don't like it then good, you want have to worry about seeing it coming down the street at you!
My 2 cents worth!

Get out and drive the truck this summer and have some fun!
It sucks not being able to hear!

LWB trucks rule, if you don't think so measure your SWB!
After talking to tech support at Air Lift I have found out that the kit I need is 60811. Per the measurements I gave them. Ride height of truck inside spring and inside diameter of springs.

I say no on the Camaro wheels... from a distance they look good but up close not so much. Now the RS/SS wheels are cool.
