Looking for a 67/68 steel grille hoop in good condition to replace my damaged upper grille hoop. I'm going to be painting it so the surface doesn't have to be perfect, just no dents or bends. If you have a set in this condition and don't want to separate I'd be willing to buy both. I'd rather not buy an aftermarket polished aluminum one just to scuff it up for paint.

I thought I had one good one on my truck but started stripping the paint and found out it was bent up and "fixed" with bondo. Hoping to find a rust and dent free pair.

Here ya go! They look to be in real good shape, no dings, no rust, just a little paint chipping at top top of the upper one. Do you need the inners also? How's $60 + shipping on both the outers? Greg

Thanks for the pictures Greg, are you sure they are steel? They kinda look like aluminum where the paint is chipping off? If they are steel would you take $100 for the inner inserts and the hoops? Could you give me a shipping quote to zip code 85224?

I could probably make that happen, I know it looks bright in the pic, but that is white paint under the black. I'm pretty sure these are the steel ones. I had a chance to get these removed, and on further inspection, there are a few dings I tried to get good pics of the areas. Sorry I didn't see these when I first looked at them. Let me know if you still want them. Greg

First hoop:

Pics 1&2 are the same dings, and pics 3&4 are also the same.

Second hoop has this mark on it, I can't tell how much is just in the paint and how much, if any, is a ding.

Thanks for the pictures greg, I'll probably hold out for a bit and see if I can find a dent free pair but I'm still interested in the grill inserts. Would you take $50 shipped for them? I have removed the inners and they are straight. A little time in a blasting cabinet, a fresh coat of paint and they will look new. Can we do $55 on the pair? I don't mean to grind you, I'm just thinking with the length of the box shipping will be $12-$15. Greg

Thanks for the pictures, so the area in the back where they bolt to the grill support (where you have the two bolts installed just off of center) is straight? Sorry for so many questions but this is where mine are bent. I actually have 2 67/68 grills bent in the same location.
