New member....New project

New to the Chevy truck world. I'm looking forward to building this truck for my son...with the help of all the great people in this Forum. I will probably ask questions that have already been answered. I apologize in advance. I will be posting pictures as I go along.

I want a clean truck with a killer stance on some truck rallys. I plan on getting rid of the current wheels and start on the suspension and go from there.

Welcome to the forum Project Nico. Thats a super clean truck project you have going. Just mu opinion, but I would keep those wheels and go to lower profile tires when you lower it...

Welcome. Beautiful truck.

What is your version of a "killer stance"? I am sure you will get good info here, regardless of what you are looking to do.

The tires on those rims are 265/70/16 what size tires would you recommend? I'm looking at maybe doing a 3/5 drop.

Nice truck man, im with N2TRUX about the wheel idea, i would stick with them with lower pro's too, they would look pretty cool.

Re: New member....New project.

Agreed--very nice project. Love the truck.
Disagree--rally wheels would look way way better, IMO.

Re: New member....New project.

Here is the truck now after getting rid of the old wheels and tires. It has a DJM 3" drop spindles and 2'' drop coils and a flip kit out back.

Re: New member....New project.

that looks sweet with the drop and ralleys. when I looked at the first picture I thought it would look nice dropped and better wheels and you nailed it.

now just keep it washed and enjoy it theres nothing more needs to be done to make it look better
