Rust is not my bed's friend....
Thanks for all the posts on my VIN number question last time fellah's. maybe some of you can enlighten me once again... The floor of the bed in my truck is RUSTED. The front, where it meets the front bed panel is gone, and is good and crusty all the way back. The bottom of the front panel and the wheel covers are also bad. i know there should be patch panels, but i can anly find small sections (24" x 16") of the floor. The front panel isnt that bad except for the very bottom, would it be repairable? the outside of the bed is in fair shape, but the tailgate is gone. would it be better just to find another bed? once again, thanks for the help!

Why is it that no one is making new bed floors? I would think that there would be a huge demand for these. Am I wrong? I know my bed floor needs to be replaced.

I thought I saw that year one had panels for the bed floor. I think they also had whole bed floors but for 73-up. Not sure if those would work or not.
