It's called "My 57 Pro Street". It's in the projects and builds sub-section on page 3 right now because I have been at a stand still for a while as finances for it get replenished.

Bumper for me boys! I suppose it depends on what kind of look you want. I want mine to be a "sleeper", look pretty stock but carry a big stick.

Show = roll pan. Driving in the real world = bumper. I see too many trucks runnning around with dented up roll pans and bed corners.

Kim, Yes I made my own top, out of 1" square aluminum tubing for the shape and then cover with .050" aluminum sheet. I did have an uphostery shop put on the top material. I have lots of pics, just don't know if I should start a thread and post them that way, truck has been done for about 8 yrs.

How about an olds grill & rollpan set-up??? (it's not my truck...but wish it was) I wanted to copy this guy with the grill. I just never was able to find one.

Hey oldman3. Tell us more about extending the stake pockets, the roll pan, and the lights. Looks very finished and thought out. Did you start with any purchased parts (roll pan) and then adapt or did you start from scratch?

Hotrod1...Got the roll pan from Classic Parts (was Chevy Duty), made up the section for the lights from scratch (will try to find pics) the taillights are cheap 3rd brake lights from JC Whitney that I rewired and relamped for brake and running lights. The extension on the stake pockets are from scratch. I made up a piece from wood with the shape I wanted, then traced the shape to metal (3 pieces) and welded together and weld to the bed. I really wanted the 88 to 90 Cadallic taillights but wouldn't fit the depth of pocket. Since then they make them with LED so it will now fit. I installed those in a 67 bed for a friend. Will pull up a pic to show them
