HMMM, Lh and Rh cargo light????
I have to assume this is for the camaro application, but just found it odd. Anyone else run into this? Is the original wiring still long enough for the other side? Comments welcome...

All the ones I have seen from the factory, wire comes in on driver side and the after market ones seem to come in on the passenger side and the wire is not long enough!

That's what I've heard for years......truck cargo light is same as 69 RS Camaro back-up lights.

Re: HMMM, Lh and Rh cargo light????
Yeah, they're '69 Camaro. The ones I bought for trucks came in packaging, not boxes, and were only the lamp base. The lense and gasket were separate part number/packages. I wonder if only the Camaro reverse lamps came in boxes? I've seen packaging vary before, though. I see both of those carry the same part number. How do you know which you are getting?

Re: HMMM, Lh and Rh cargo light????
Tim, that is what i was wondering also, same number but 2 sides. They are marked RH and LH in the casting. So is that the same part number for trucks also?

Re: HMMM, Lh and Rh cargo light????
This is too cool, I bought a pair of these back several years ago for a Camaro I was fixing up. I ended up selling the Camaro and never put them on. Upon reading this I went scrounging through my parts and got them out. Mine are repros that were in packaging. They have the part number and designate left hand or right hand. I did get lucky and the lenses which were separate from the housings are NOS. At least now when I decide to get serious about restoring my truck I'll have a new shiny one to take the place of my old pitted one.

Re: HMMM, Lh and Rh cargo light????
I looked real quick in my 46-72 GM Truck parts book and couldn't find the cargo lamp listed. I'll look harder. I have the one somewhere and not sure how easily I can get my hands on it.
