Removing stering wheel 69 gmc help - The 1947 - Present Chevrolet & GMC Truck Message Board Network

Trying to remove my original steering wheel of my 69 GMC truck
was able to take the bold and horn wires but CANT REMOVE the old steering wheel, stuck real good

any ideas??

ststeering wheel puller is a cheap tool to buy// knowing how to properly use a puller is good too

the poormans way in a junkyard is with the nut on the shaft and you crunched up in the seat with your knees pushing up on the wheel with the handle down head up on heavy hammer give ththe nut a good wack that usually will break the taper connection loose
