new guy needs some help.

first post here, hopefully someone can help me out! I got me a long bed 65 chevy C-20 with a 350 rebuild and 2 speed tranny. I believe the problem is either coming from the fuse block, or a bad wire connection. First off, my truck will shut off and I wont hear the electric fuel pump running. There is two things I do to get it started again. 1. tilt the fuse block up and to the left and I can hear the fuel pump goin again (sometimes this wont work) 2. wiggle some wires til i hear the pump goin but the connection doesnt seem to stay.
Any ideas would be great! Ill try and get some pictures up asap.

You can "tilt" the fuse block? The fuse block is supposed to be mounted to the firewall.

I'd say that's 95% of your problem right there.

ya i figured that much. It came like that from the guy i bought the truck from. So how do i tighten that sucker up?

has 2 bolts that fasten it to the firewall, one is just to the left of the hood hinge and the other is under the wheel well.
