I am looking for a repro lower control arm. I found it at LMC. How is the quality of this piece? Do any of the vendors sell this part?

LMC SUCKS Their parts are cheap and you get what you pay for

depends on who you get your parts from the rockers I got from Brothers are all stamped with "MADE IN USA" whare the rockers I've got from LMC said "MADE IN CHINA"

the rockers from Brothers were also heavier and had a better fit then the LMC rocker

I aslo prefer to support american enterprises firm beliver of Buy American Support America

Brothers manufactures a large amount of the parts they sell and therfore can better control the quality of the parts they sell

and yes I know LMC doesn't make thier own parts so they don't have any say in quality control and that is why thier parts suck witch wouldn't be that bad if they had decent customer service witch they don't so as I said earlier LMC SUCKS

The only made in the USA rockers for these trucks are the Genuine GM rockers and you will know that by their price. All others are made in Tiawan. There are 5 different manufactures in Tiawan and not all qualities are the same. Brother's does have a lot of their own parts manufactures, but so does LMC, and so do I. You just need to be able to weed through the bad parts to find who sells the best. That is what we try to do and is why we are not always the cheapest price. WES

I spent a little over $200 for all three rockers so you tell me it was over a year ago when I installed them and if I remember right they had a GM logo on the sticker

ive never used your parts yet but I will check them out Its also nice that you are somewhat local

yes i rember them saying "made in USA" I was surprized when I saw that as I was under the impression that no aftermarket body panels were made in the USA

i have the upper control arms from lmc, they fit fine, seem to be the correct gauge as the factory ones, and the stamping looks factory. I havent gotten my truck on the road yet so i can't say about duribility, but so far so good.

I second Scotts' Super Trucks. Whenever I swing through Alberta, I make a stop there. Scott does do used parts as well. He has a yard full of our trucks in various states. Call him with your used part requests as well.
