exhaust???
I am having the most awful time deciding what kind of mufflers i want to put on. My truck already has a dual exhaust with truck mufflers and heddman headers. It is too quiet. I want something louder but not obnoxious. I dont want to have to turn my truck off at a drive through. I am looking at maybe the delta 50 series from flowmaster. I went to their website but the only sound clip they have is from a 67 camaro with a 383 stroker. I dont think that is a fair comparison. Because of the dual exhaust, i will need to mufflers. Do i need an H pipe? Let me know what yall think.
Also, if anyone has any sound clips post em up. sorry for this thread. I am sure it has been posted many times. If the search feature worked i would have used it. thanks Will

I too went through a horrible, agonizing time trying to decide on mufflers. I went with Magnaflows and couldn't be happier. They are nice and mellow when you are cruising and at idle, so they aren't obnoxious, but sound nice and mean when you step on it! They are great. I would get an H-pipe while you're at it.

Check out the Hooker AeroChamber mufflers.
They are half chambered (like a Flowmaster) and half stainless steel packed (like a Borla). The give ya a Nice deep sound but still loud enough to hear but not overbearing. Not all that loud inside the cab. Best of both worlds IMO. check em out. May want to consider an H-pipe as well. That will bring the sound level down a little bit as well and help make some poWa! lata CHRIS

Here is a pic of the muffler. I am running these on my 68. 2.5inch inlet/outlet. Run you about 60$ a piece. About half what a Flowmaster will run you these days!

It's the ZZ roller cam....I will be adding the specs from the motor to the website shortly...I will be adding roller rockers and probably stepping up the cam abit...I would like to see something closer to 600HP.
