Any dents? Looks a little oxidized. Have you tried to clean it up a little?

It needs to be cleaned, but I have no use for it (GMC truck) & did not try to polish it up. I'll leave that up to the new owner for his/her needs. No dents that are noticable as far as I can see.

You sure its going to fit? I had both styles 73-80 & 81-87 of tailband recently and notice the 73-80 was a bit deeper than the 81-87 and of course the 81-87 style has a trim perimeter while the 73-80 did not have the trim on the sides. Noticed that you have a 85 model C-10 and assume you have that year tailgate. I think the 81-87 tailgates don't have as deep of a cavity than the early years. Just my 2 cents...
