Transfer Case E Brake
Is anybody running Hi Angle Driveline's Emergency brake setup on the rear output of a 205 transfer case? How good is it? Is it a PITA to setup right? I don't like the idea of having to adjust my rear calipers by setting the "E" Brake constantly. Do you think this is the best option? Please let me know what you think! Thanks

Re: Transfer Case E Brake
You should only have to "adjust" couple times a year. On my vehicles where the E brake worked, pull and hold the release handle, back up and depress the E brake pedal. Takes bout 10 seconds to do.
I'm sure it's a good kit, but for the price I'd rather have the other E brake and put the money somewhere else.

Re: Transfer Case E Brake
Just wondering does this go along with 14b disc brakes or not if so i found an interesting link awhile back on how to get e-brakes and not have to use those car calipers all the aftermarket companies sell

http://www.pirate4x4.com/forum/showthread.php?t=887663 although it might be more work i like the idea of a stock like setup over a t-case ebrake or el dorado calipers or whatever they are

Re: Transfer Case E Brake
you can replace the 3/4 ton front calipers that they use on the rear conversioins with the 78ish El Dorado calipers that have an arm for a machanical e-brake....
