progess at last....
Even a teeny bit of progress is better than no progress. We put on a new carb and got it running. I drove it around the neighborhood a few times for the first time in a few years. It felt great. It runs a little rough, I still need to put in the new motor but at least it's staying on and not fouling the plugs. We also put the top on and bolted it down. That was a PITA but it's on. There was definitely some sag in the body because it took a lot of coaxing and finagling to get it on. Here's a few pics:

It sure is, thanks for the carb and for coming over and letting me watch you work on my truck. Next up, U-joints on the tahoe.

Thanks for chiming in VT. Heard a lot of crickets there for a while. Go but a battery and fire it up again and drive it again.
