60-66 Dually Bed

A friend wants to do a 60-66 Dually with 55-66 stepper fenders grafted onto a 60-66 fleet bed. I've seen this on 67-72 but can't find a pic of a 60-66 (probably for the best... ). Anyone have a pic of one?

Re: 60-66 Dually Bed

imo the white 456 is the best, with the body line of the 55-9 lining up with the inset line of the 60-66.

I agree 100%. That's how I pictured it lining up best. Thanks for all the pics. Somehow I'm not surprised you had them I am surprised, however, that I kinda dig it!

I was on my way to buy this truck in Barstow when I got a call that it was just sold to someone in OC. Thursday I was on my way to the freeway and looked to my right and saw it sitting abandoned in a lot. Got the owners number from the guy that works there and the owner now wants $1800 for it. IMO its not worth it. Lots of bodywork needed and cab has holes added everywhere. Still thinking about it. Here are a few pics as it sits today.

Re: 60-66 Dually Bed

Wow-that blue truck is still around! I picked up some ford dually flares a couple of weeks ago for a future project because I loved that look. Chvyman-if you decide to take a pass on that truck could you pm me the info? I'd at least like to get a chance to see it in person.

I saw a 60-66 long narrow that had a fleetside tailgate, front bed panel and wheel tubs. Over duallies. Looked very cool.

Re: 60-66 Dually Bed

The Ford tubs look good in shape but the wheel opening doesnt match; bugs me. Wonder if the 60-66 step lip could be grafted on the Ford tubs?

That truck used to be in Hesperia for years! I used to go by that guys house all the time on 11th street and it used to be parked in his driveway facing the street. That thing looked so cool from the street. I never looked at it up close. It's been through a lot of hands in the last few years.
