Any flame throwers out there?

Has anyone installed a flame thrower kit on their truck?

the kits are a joke. iv never heard a good thing about them. im collecting parts to wire one up on my 65 longbox. were you wanting to inject a fuel or just run off the engine fumes?

I was thinking about this too. And yeah, those kits look dumb. Seems to be easy enough to whip up yourself.

Re: Any flame throwers out there?

Im just looking to burn the unburnt gas.

I have 4" pipe sticking out before the rear tire now. I would just add the kit to it. The only thing I would have to watch is burning the paint.

Re: Any flame throwers out there?

Always wanted to do a flame thrower. In college I had a 305 in my 66 with a manual choke and duals out back. I could fully choke the engine at idle and take a striker for a torch and light both exhaust pipes up. I had about 2 feet of fire coming out each pipe.
Once I would unchoke the engine and rev it a few times the fire would go out.

Might have to rig me up a kit now.
