Damaged lower control arm

Well, I noticed before I pushed the LCA shaft out that the LCA itself had been bent in the location of the bushing. The bushing should have been flush with the LCA at the flange of the bushing. But the lower part of that area was pushed in. So the bushing hung out part way around its circumference. And in the process of pressing out the bushing on the other side, I'm pretty sure I bent the LCA a little. Also I used a sawzall with a metal blade to cut out the 'shell' of the bushings. On one side I went a little too deep and cut the arm itself a little. But I can repair it with a little bead on the welder. I'm going to use my OA torch to heat the LCA up and get it straight again (best I can). Sound reasonable? I haven't pressed in the new bushings or ball joints yet. So if it's really FUBAR and I shouldn't try to fix it, I can still go that way. What say ye, suspension gurus?

Post up some pics of the carnage...but...I'm thinking you might just want to get some (an) arm from a junkyard, and find a hard core parts store with a machine shop, and have 'em put in.
