carb base name or part no.

does any body know what the cardboard like peice on 292 engine. carburator where it seats on intake is call? AND WHERE CAN I FIND IT? not the gaskets thanks

sorry camera not here. but the part that Im saying it looks like a gasket but its a lot thicker like 3/8s or more and it seems to be made out of cardbord its between the carb and the intake it has 1 normal gasket in each side

Sounds like an insulating spacer.

I don't know, but the 1/4" thick stock carb to intake gaskets can be gotten at NAPA.
