Re: 5" Rear drop springs from Ebay

I think 5" drop requires a super trac bar

Re: 5" Rear drop springs from Ebay

i have 5" drop springs and 1.5" blocks. i have the adjustable bar listed in the link. it works perfect. you do not need the super trac bar.

Re: 5" Rear drop springs from Ebay

I drove mine with the stock track bar and these springs for a half tank of gas so far with no problems.

Here's how mine sits. The 305 BFG's are coming off. The track bar sits slightly higher on the passenger side but goes down the highway just fine.

Re: 5" Rear drop springs from Ebay

If the rear end is not centered after lowering it, you need an adjustable trak bar.

Re: 5" Rear drop springs from Ebay

I just got mine sitting on the ground with the 3"front 5" rear combo.
Front almost seems higher, probably going to cut a 1/4-1/2 coil.
I left the stock track bar unhooked till I sat it on the ground and it lined up easily as well. I do have the adj 35" bar set up to install though.

Re: 5" Rear drop springs from Ebay

I am running the same size tire all around as well. I think if I had a little taller tire on the rear, the stance would be dead on.

Re: 5" Rear drop springs from Ebay

Drive it around for a bit before you cut the springs. they will probably settle a little.

Re: 5" Rear drop springs from Ebay

It's been sitting on the front springs for about 6 months.
I've never seen spring 'settle' much lower after a short time anyway.
