Rear fuel tank
I'm looking into buying a rear fuel tank kit and was wondering who had the best for the money I'm leaning towards the ECE one but out seems expensive! So has anyone had any experience with that kit our any others? Thanks

I got a blazer tank from GMC Pauls that works good I don't remember what I paid but It fits nicely between the rails

I got an aluminum tank from brothers it mocked up nice havnt ran exhast yet

I have performance onlines fuel tank and dont recommend it. The fuel feed is located at the very right front corner which causes a fuel starvation unless I have over 3/4 full. During normal driving its not a problem. When I run it hard and not full my carb will run out of fuel over 5000 rpms. Pretty much all fun is killed unless the tank is completely full. I have tried many things to make my fuel system more effiecient but nothing helped and am about to cut the tank open either sump it or add baffles.

I had one made by boyd welding out of Ocala Florida. I run across a post on the board a couple years ago where some of the members joined together and they made the tanks for everyone at a special price. I wasnt able to get the good deal but it was still a pretty good price from what I recall their prices were a little cheaper than the other tanks I found at ECE, etc.
I gave them the dimensions and it turned out great. They can put the filler where ever you want it. They have a website boydwelding.com.

So I think I'm gonna go with the under bed kit from gmc pauls! Has anyone had any problems so far all I hear is good! I'm also going to be installing an ECE 4/6 drop at the same time! Has anyone had any problems with this combo I would'nt think so but maybe the tank hanging to low? Anyways thanks for the input!

Be sure to study the finished installation photos. Some of these tanks, such as the Blazer - CPP - Camaro tanks, are visible hanging down under the truck.
