Gauge cluster

anyone have or seen a cluster with white gauges and blue light. my truck has a theme (kinda) of blue black and chrome and i think getting rid of the black and green light would help it. Plus the green ones are kinda dim.

or is there a way to get the green tint off and put on blue, cause the black doesn't look too bad. in need a factory tach too (fyi)

or just take the green off and get little blue light blubs which i have seen

I put those white decals on my gauges and then put in someblue bulbs (its the same part number bulb as the white but blue) I wasnt happy with the brigthness. It prob would of helped to repaint the back piece of the bezel tho.

If you take apart the guage cluster you will see that the inside of it is painted a light green and that's what gives it a green tint. I suppose you could repaint this part a light blue and it would give it a blue tent.

You can brighten it up by painting it white. The neon lighting looks kind of neat on modern cars but I wouldn't go to overboard with neon and colored lights on a classic truck. It starts looking a little "too" different in my opinion. Nice truck by the way!

bug zapper...that's funny as hel!
I have taken apart every inst panel I've had and painted all the funky green crap white. I tried one in blue and didn't like the out come, so it went white too.
Once you paint it all up, you can get the 194b lights to do the blue display.
Works pretty cool with the stock guages too.

I used flat white spray paint, I think I've used everything from the 99 cent wall mart crap to the over priced testors stuff in the model section.
I just fogged it on about 3 or 4 times, just untill all the fugly green paint was hidden.
