lowering help

Hey fellas in the past couple months I have installed cpp's 3/5 loading spring kit and I have been noticing that the back sits alot lower than the front almost like one of those mexican mobiles. My question is am im doing something wrong I made sure that the front springs were seated properly. Also do many people have problems with this kit?

Thanks

Bryce

Re: lowering help

A friend of mine bought the same parts.
Front sat higher than the rear also.
He's adding drop spindles to bring the front down some more.

You really need to add the adjustable track bar (to re-center the rearend in the truck),... and shorter drop shocks.
Your stock shocks will be junk in no time.

Re: lowering help

i've seen the same complaint at least 4-5 times with that same combination

foolish not to use drop shocks and adjustable panhard bar to properly do the job

Bryce,
I bought CPP's 3-4" Lowering Kit with that included Springs,
and Short Shocks. I already had 2.5" Drop Spindles in the Front, so after installation, I had a 5.5" Drop in Front. The Back STILL wasnt low enough, so I put on 2" Drop Blocks for a Total of 6" in Back.
Never had a problem with one side being Lower/Higher than the other.

That Drop was Documented at my Website below:

Re: lowering help

Yes, go with the trackbar, you need it. Your truck will drive a lot better too.

Re: lowering help

I have 3/5 and adjustable pan-hard. Mine still looks a little lower in back. I also have had 3/3 on, was a little too high in back. I think the correct combo is 3/4.

Also, I have rumble at take off with 5 that I did not have with 3, I am certain it is u-joint angle. Again, I think 4 will cure this....

Re: lowering help

Guys I have lowered over 25 trucks and if your rearend stays centered can someone explain why you would need a adjustable track bar?????

Normally the rearend shifts to the passenger side.

DITTO.

If one has wide tires, this is especially an issue, as tire can rub on fender...

Re: lowering help

heres a couple of how my 3 5 cpp drop springs with their shocks look...the frt def has to come down some more!!
I am happy with the rear, although the ride is a bit bouncy now, but she is super tight.
