Need C20 Advice

I started this thread for the build here, but I need some help figuring out what to do for the suspension over-all.

http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/s...d.php?t=467437

The truck is a 72 C20 3/4 ton. It has Disc Front / Drum Rear. Coil Spring Rear.

The truck has already been lowered, I assume the springs were heated up. The suspension is unforgiving, since the springs have been compressed down to very little "spring". The rear of the truck will literally fly off the pavement over a bump. I want to do it properly, restore

I don't necessarily care that it has 8 lug wheels all the way around, to change these out to 5 lug would cost an arm and a leg. What I do care about is lowering it properly, and finding 3/4 ton parts, I'm not sure what works with what, or where to get good parts. I've read a bunch of threads, but it's hard to piece info together, reading replies to different types of trucks etc.

I like the stance of the truck now, but I want to rear to sit a couple inches lower than it does now.

I also need to figure what size wheel I can get away with.

Any questions you guys have, I'm happy to answer for you, or look at the truck, take a picture etc.

Re: Need C20 Advice

Look at www.performanceonline.com.
They have drop spindles, lowered leaf springs and coil springs for your truck.
The correct suspension products and shocks won't be cheap, though.
