From personal experience, I can tell you that if you roll it up you will ruin it. The cardboard backing will not go back flat if it is rolled or creased. It will cost more to ship it that way, but I would hate to see a beautiful OEM headliner in a hard-to-find color get destroyed.

leddzepp says it's not a good idea to roll it up so, shipping will be more. I was thinking of rolling it into a 10" diameter roll- if someone wants to try it & save on shipping- I'm game, Thanks for the tip leddzepp!

I just had one shipped to me. Junkyardjohn used two heavy duty pieces of cardboard (think luan) and taped up using gorilla tape. Made it to me with no issues at all and is perfect.

I ship them using 1/4 plywood, adds some weight but it helps some during shipping, oversize item though
