Topper Bolt size?

Anyone know what size the bolt is that holds on the double wall fiberglass top?
When i took mine off, a couple of the bolts sheared off and a bunch of the rest were pretty rusty. I couldn't find anything to match at the local hardware store.....

Re: Topper Bolt size?

If you are asking about the ones that go up through the bedsides and into the top I "think" they are 5/16-18. Someone else should be along shortly to confirm or?

I put neversieze on the bolts so they will be removeable next time.

Re: Topper Bolt size?

You should be able to clean up the rusty ones with a tap. Mine were so far gone I had to replace them all. I went with wood 2x4's cut down to fit and then put 3/8-16 brass inserts in them to bolt down with.
