Re: L.A. Roadster Show - pics and swap meet killing...
I believe the burb arrived with a car club - it was a beautiful truck and the other club members had some great rides also (I'm partial to early fifties chevs - cars, that is). Love the trucks too, but my true "truck love" starts around '54... (and ends around '72). I just need a bigger garage. Oh, and a ton of money.

Re: L.A. Roadster Show - pics and swap meet killing...
Corie, sorry but only grabbed the phone number on the one below, a 51 chev 3100, very original and still 6 volt that I was looking at myself. But I doubt I'll call the gent. It was a very straight truck though. The body was very straight, paint avg, and interior was pretty nice.
Here's the pic and the phone #. (EDIT: oops - the bumper sign doesn't have the price - it was posted in the windshield - I believe it was $8900) Also, the only price I recall other than that one was the gorgeous red flatbed - it was in the $32K neighborhood. Not all the pics I posted were cars for sale, most just sittin in the show. Last edited by jocko; 06-19-2011 at 09:54 AM. |
