4 speed Trans sync

I have a 4 speed saginaw trans that I was told was rebuilt. It shifts into all gears fine except for 3rd. It doesn't mesh right away, it will grind for a few seconds before it wants to fall into gear.

Is there an adjustment for this, or was the rebuild done wrong?

Thanks

Hey,
I was going to drop you a line after I got settled in. We made an offer on a house in southern Franklin. Hopefully we can close and move in by the end of August. Have you moved yet? We like the area, but I hate the mosqitos!

Sounds like a bad synchro ring. No adjustment, just replacement.
