Re: The Fuse is Lit...
Well, went on quite a road trip today! About a 500 mile, 12 hour odessey that included a trip through (and I do mean through) the heart of KC.
First we went to pick up some bedsides that 72ironmike has been graciously holding for me for several months and in the process got to see the truck he built that he sold to his brother, but you have probably already seen it here... Yes the dream we all dream of...on the cover of Classic Trucks July 2010 (you can see more here http://www.classictrucks.com/feature...cst/index.html in case you missed it.) The only thing I can say is that this truck is more bueatiful in person than in pictures! Then we traveled to North KC to Classic Parts and saved over $200.00 in shipping on some items, I was feeling pretty smart until we left and proceeded into downtown KC (my GPS is still recalculating!!!) with a 16' trailer and a hillbilly attitude where angels fear to tread. But, by God's grace we made it (and I learned a few new words) and arrived safe and sound back in good ole Arkansas. Bedsides in new home... Thanks Mike !!!

Thanks for the compliment!
I got this kit http://www.fatmat.com/bulk/megamat/100.html, looks like it will do floor, firewall, back of cab and inside the door with more left over.

Re: The Fuse is Lit...
Installed my kick panels but couldn't get'em to seat correctly, so I tried velcro and double sided tape but no go. I tried to keep from putting screws in because I did not like the way it looked but I found these push fasteners at Lowe's and installed them. I think they turned out okay.

Re: The Fuse is Lit...
Thanks, I got the panels from Classic Parts in KC. They have two different sets, one with cheaper speakers and one with the pioneers.

Re: The Fuse is Lit...
Well the fenders and doors are now in primer, and the hood and grill are almost ready to primer. I will get some pics up, seems like I forget my camera everytime I go to the shop.
In the meantime I decided to start the rewire of my engine harness... Does anybody know what this wire does???
