belt noise

After changing out ps and alt belt I have acquired a belt squeal at top end of rpm range before shifting{auto}.Both belts appear to have proper tension, what is rule of thumb?I have always just snugged her up and left it.

The alignment seems fine, hard to tell which belt is squealing. The alt belt fits nicely inside of the pulley, the ps belts rides nearly flush with the pulley. These are Napa belts.WD 40 helped alittle but still hear it when I get agressive with the throttle.

Re: belt noise

It was the alt. belt.Got it so tight now I hear the bearings.I'm sure that won't last long.
