i have a poly tank and it was hell trying to make a fill for it.
i have heard that they warp in HOT weater.
after getting tired of filling it in 2 hours I sottered some copper into a filler that works perfect now. i can fill at full speed and have no more burping. i dont know about the aluminum one but my poly tank hangs down way below the side and back of the bed so you can see it from all over. but it holds gas and i can fill it now so it works good enough for me i guess.

there it is hanging at some wierd anglr in the back

the biggest advatage i've noticed is that the 21 gal hold down the rear end for some added traction so not much of this and the gas smell in the cab is gone
