2005 leather seat repair options

Driver seat leather worn and cracked. Vertical vinyl section near entry also split due to wear. What options do I have to get repaired to match remainder of leather seating?
Factory material available?
Do new "take offs" come available for sale i.e. Ebay?
Correct color matched seat covers?
Can upholstery shop match?

A good upholstery shop can dye leather to match any color. If the rest of the interior is worn....Dont expect a exact match, You will have a new-looking driver seat. The foam in the seat WILL need replacing, & maybe some seat frame repair.

First off I would keep an eye on ebay, good condition take offs appear from time to time. But if you wanted to swap to a good quality leather rather than the OEM GM Pleather, I would look into something like Roadwire or Katzkin leather, much higher quality.

The dealer should be able to get new covers for you. I've been through it with my '04 Ferd.
