A how to on this would be awesome. If you get a chance, can you tell me the Inside dimensions of the brake light opening of the trim?

well an update: i got a pvc hose for my pvc to the port on the carb and i got my 2 heater hoses

another one is i am waiting on these parts now:

tailgate handle trim
dome light lens (for dads rig)
67 radio knobs
radio mount cups
and still need to get word from mark on the buddy bucket cab brace
and since im already getting one trim peice i need to start hunting down the rest of the trim peices for the rear.

well i got my trim peice and my dome light... poor dome light should have satyed a complete life in wyoming... needless to say it was broke to pieces literally 2 so i either glue it or throw it away.... any ways i am working on drilling holes for trim an will make my how to

Do you need more measurements for the gate? I'll pm my # in case you start drilling and get lost. It'd be easier saying 'lalalalalal' over the phone then trying to type it. You wouldnt have verizon would ya

hahaha nope nop verizon lol. i gave you my number..... i drilled the 2 center holes right by the handle and started the 3 around the drivers tail lights (mine is 3 because its a 67 68 bed you have a 69 72 bed john so it has 4) and thats it

what a cool build thread! sweet job.i wish i would have picked a 67-72 chevy for my first ever build.but living in the desert and by the river/lake havasu,of course i built a 4x4 monster.and dont got a garage yet,and very low money haha......i didnt have enough patience to read the entire thing(76 dam pages!) but are you going to lower the sucker or what? whats the plans there?

haha thanks! a lower job may be in the future! and after that rear disk brakes and A/C so those will happen but not soon. but once i get it running i will then tear it back apart and do a nice paint job not this rattle can joe paint lol. thanks for lookin at what you did look at!

thanks ryan, ya those tail lights holes are taking forever.... i hate when pople just weld up trim holes because they dont want trim....there were plenty of 67 swb fleetsides without trim!

I held some of my trim up to my truck this AM..I clipped my front trim down (was comming loose yesterday). I may have you get some measurements from your truck to mine if you dont mind..so the measurements i gave worked out?)

'the measure ments work but i pic and then edit them with paint would be a little easier to understand. what measurement do you need ill go out and measure

AT LAST MY 67 DASH KNOBS ARE COMPLETE! i just received my 2 radiuo knobs and will go install them now! thank rod!

Not right now, Im going to start putting trim on, Im missing the passenger fender 67 68 trim piece, do you have one or know of one i'll buy it

I'll try'n get a drawing or something out and do a better job when time comes

I found some guy on the board with 'misc' trim for 5 bucks each!!! check it out!!

if that dont work out see if the pickn pull truck has trim and how much if its nothing crazy (picknpull price, plus shipping to tn) i'll paypal you some money or somethgin

haha thanks should have more tommorow need to take a pic of the dash with the knobs all in and not having in any missing, and i have rubbed my thumb raw (literally its purple), from steel wooling paint off of the liscence plate frame, it was red back ground with white letters but now its red back ground with chrome letters which looks really cool when it reflects stuff from its surroundings.
