Costs Spreadsheet

I have an Excel spreadsheet of all of my costs, parts, and where I got them from for my 6.0/4l80e swap. I plan to add the part numbers as I go back through all of my paperwork. I'd like to be able to post this for others to reference if it might help anyone see a full layout of parts and what worked together (and what didn't)

If this is something that can be posted/viewed I'd be happy to post it up, but can't seem to find a way to get the .xls onto the forum

Re: Costs Spreadsheet

Harnalien, do you actually think your any different than the rest of us weekend mechanics? I bet if you polled all the 1 time swappers here, they would ALL tell stories about how they p1ss3d away alot of money with their swap. Heck, I spent probably $800-1000 too much and probably another $1K since on upgrades of what I had already done.

Re: Costs Spreadsheet

Far as I can tell .xls is not supported. Try copy and pasting it into Word, .doc are supported. If not PM me and I'll get it up.....or if really big I'll ask Josh.

EDIT: I had planned on starting a "LSx Swap Cost" thread for the LSx FAQ, Just haven't gotten to it yet. Oh and my cost break down is currently on a stickie note...........a very big one

Sooooooooo true. I leave out all of my stupid mistakes when I tell people how "easy" my swap was. Ha Ha.

Re: Costs Spreadsheet

I'll try the .doc idea. I need to edit it again first, as I added the cost of some dyno time last night

Re: Costs Spreadsheet

Thanks for motivating me: http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/s...d.php?t=473560

Another FYI, if you have a 07+ version of Microsoft office, you need to save the word document in a older format. 07+ MS office saves in .docx which is not supported.
