Now where did I put that air cleaner???

What started off as an early morning run to get a ton of hay in the farm truck turned into a fuel pump replacement in a field. Problem is I couldn't remember where I put the air cleaner. Needless to say the right front fender raised up slightly when I found it. I knew I went over something......just didn't know what. As long as it wasn't my son, I really wasn't too worried.

This was what I found. Air filter was shot but the cleaner itself wasn't too bad but now......

Funny thing is that was a 4" element!!

Re: Now where did I put that air cleaner???

I've been trying to sell it on the Team Camaro website for those guys with the tall intake and the cowl hood clearance problems. NO go so far!

Re: Now where did I put that air cleaner???

my air-intake setup. an edelbrock performer with Q-jet and topped off with an old GM dual snorkel base from a camaro (or whatever) and the top half from my dad's 84 burb c10 350 w/ tow package. takes a huge 14x5 inch filter! still needs some minor metal work and a coat of paint. thank gawd i always remember to put it back on or it would need more than paint!
