Sub info
Just seen a 1966 chevy sub for $1000 o.b.o. Looks good in the pics. It has a 350/350 combo and it looks to have the original seats in the back with plaid coverings. says call to test drive. No Answer No Answer I'll keep trying. Anything to look for?

Re: Sub info
Rust and body damage, same as trucks. the 350/350 is not original, nor are the plaid seat covers. I'd be wary of the quality of the work done. For that asking price, you could be inheriting somebody's problem, but then again, you may just be a lucky guy in the right place at the right time.

Re: Sub info
those kind of things you have to check out now, or they are gone right now. If you are interested in those and you want one at that price if it is 1/2 way decent, it is gone; don't stand around waiting for your buddies answer or picking your nose, go check it out. that is the only way that you are going to find out

Re: Sub info
That's how I got my GMC as well. I was the first guy to answer the ad. I asked if he would come down on price, and he said probably yes if the truck didn't sell in a few weeks. The truck was so nice I paid what he wanted since I knew it wouldn't be around more than a day or two.
