Pulled these last night and of course one of the studs had to break and of course it had to be on the 'C', but I don't give up that easily so....I ground the stub flat, drilled it out and threaded a steel drywall screw into it then cut the head off. I found a new self-threading nut and closed the hole a bit and it works fine. This is in there pretty good and tight and should be ok but if you have some JB Weld it wouldn't hurt to smear some at the base.
I also threw in another 'C' I had with good studs as a last resort.

Thanks Brad. That will work good. I like the drywall screw repair. I'll try it on some of my emblems with broken studs.

My fix is a little rough but with some practice it could be done much better. Might save a lot of emblems that would get thrown away otherwise.
