I have a 67 Chevy C10 truck and find the steering column in the way with my knees when entering and have decided that I need a tilt column. It is a column shift (3 spd auto). For longer drives it would be great to have a cruise control as well.
I have considered going with a Iditit or Flaming River unit but the costs with the cruise control module make for a very high cost. Can anyone give me feedback if I were to look at a GM unit from a newer vehicle what I should look for that would be a direct bolt in and what length column would be best? Thanks |

Re: tilt column 67 C10 Truck
71-72 chevy/gmc truck tilt column, use a Dakota digital cruise control unit with the turnsignal/cruise lever together. A new 71-72 truck column is available through CPP, contact CPPJEFF for a deal, he is on this board.
