have you checked with STP67-72, he's in Port Neches and he has buildings full of stuff, not sure he's getting rid of any cabs but I'm sure he can find you one, he had a few last time I was there, also they have on at Autobody Excellence off Twin City Highway in Nederland, not sure if they are selling it but it's sitting outside on a cab dolley

Vintage Chevy Trucks is good people, but finding one closer to home would be a plus. Shipping things too large to hand carry that doesn't roll can be a costly proposition.

I know a guy that's going to be in the Oakland/Fresno/Barstow area at the end of the week. Might be short notice, but he might be able to help you out.

I agree, check the Dallas/ Fort Worth craigs. Also check under the listing auto parts. I see ads for just cabs only and some that are cabs and chasis together. You should be able to find something closer to you.

Good luck,

Keith

see them all the time on DFW craigslist...i would imagine shipping charges alone would net you another cab...

Also check in Victoria. I seem to remember passing a place along the highway on the way to Corpus that had a lot of trucks just sitting in a field.

Re: Purchase Experience from Vintage Chevy Trucks

Also, don't rule out searching craigslist ads for complete trucks or rollers...I know texas trucks aren't rust free...but I've seen some close to it....and I've seen some killer deals out that way on longbeds....you might be able to sell off the remainder of the truck and end up with a free cab basically...

or....if wanting perfect parts....buy a complete lwb truck in az or co/nv....and it'll be cheaper to transport than just a cab and again....you can recoup your investment in selling off the remainder of the parts....
