Wheels
Alright, so my dad and I have been working on his truck for a while now. We converted the front and rear to 5 on 4 3/4 disc brakes. Alright, the problem that we are running into is that obviously stock rims won't fit anymore. And all we lying around are a set of 16" T/A wheels(the gold honey comb ones), and some corvette rally wheels from the late 60s(not sure exactly what year). The problem that we have run into is that the A arm hits the back of the T/A wheel when turning. So my question is does anyone know what wheels(car wheels) will work on this truck, without the A arm rubbing? As always thank you in advance.

Your going to need at least 15" rims to start. What disc brake setup did you use, what brand? Also how deep are your wheels in the front? Im assuming thats where the rubbing is happening. Went back and read a bit more, the Corvette wheels, Rallyes should work fine. That T/A wheel, is that something your trying to use? |

Re: Wheels
You need a wheel with 4'' back space or less. i'm guessing you have drop spindles like I do . Just went through the same thing . Hope this helps..

Re: Wheels
The Generation 2, S10 "ZQ8" wheels are awesome and I think they might be 4" backspacing too .. I'm not sure, don't take my word for it. I have always been curious how they'd look on a C10. Mine's 5x5 or I would have tried already. Bigger tires of course ..
