Re: My 1st View about the Circuit Rider on the Highway

Hey Guys ,I wish we could do both shows but one trip to visit our friends in Ohio this year is all we can do. We are actually working at the Chevelle show selling 50/50 tickets to help them support Toys For Tots this Christmas. About a month after that show several of the Chevelle Club guys from Nashville and us are driving our Chevelles up to Maine and back just to see this side of the country in a Chevelle. Last year we drove to Oregon across the upper United States and back through Northern California onto part of RT 66 on to Texas to Oklahoma City then back home. That was a trip of a lifetime traveling 6600 miles roundtrip through 22 states with 6 very nice Chevelles. Maybe someday my truck will get to go on a shorter version of one of those trips but it gets pretty lousy mileage or at least it did while it was still in one piece.

Re: My 1st View about the Circuit Rider on the Highway

I forgot to mention that when I picked up the truck from fine69 Saturday night...not only did I run into rain but my heart about stopped when I saw a big deer standing along the side of the road. I am sure glad the deer decided to stay put. But all I could think of is how much damage would I encounter should the deer jump in front of me and how much would it cost to repair the truck...

When I was 18 I hated cars and trucks painted any shade of green. But now in my old age I have adjusted my color taste plus I wanted to keep my truck the factory colors. Now the wife has another opinion...she calls my truck ugly

Mine is at about 2200 around 55-60, and I don't take it much over that.

I did that switch on my old 67 C-10, and sorry that I did.
Yea it helped the RPM's at Higher Speeds, but made it a DAWG off the line.
I remember with 3:73's I could turn the tires over even with a very tired 350.
When I switched Gear Ratios, I tried it a few times and was so embarrased I didn't do it again....(in THAT Truck)!

@70CST.....
Speaking of Wife's Whinning........

You know, I love my Wife. When we Drive around, she'll look at other Cars and say, "Now THAT would look Hot on your Truck! Just throw some SS Stripes on it and your Golden".

I guess that's why we just celebrated 22 years of Marriage last week.

There's only 2 things that we dissagree on....Gear Drives and Lopey Idles.

She wants my truck to be pink or purple ... She says thats a pretty color I agree those are nice colors but does the name Circuit Rider maike yo think od pink or purple?

The Circuit Rider of yesteryear rode among the "GREEN" trees and fields of GREEN grass.
I rest my case.
