Re: 454 implant

As long as you have the mounts on the block of the 454 you are set, the mounts on the frame are the same.

Re: 454 implant

The only problem I had when I put a 454 in place of a sb400 was I had to use a short bowl fuel pump.I believe it was for a BB in a 70 malibu. The tall bowl hit the frame.

No problem. Everything is the same. Even the clam shell mounts that bolt to the motor.

Re: 454 implant

It is a bolt in. But you will need the short fuel pump. I think I ordered one for a 70 corvette 454. It was the short one but it didn't have the return line but it worked fine. BB and SB engine mounts and frame mounts are the same.
