tach gauge cluster question

I found a tach gauge cluster today, but it's pretty rusted. Pitting on the back and on all the gauge faces and the needles are not good either. Are these things still worth anything in poor condition? Thanks

Re: tach gauge cluster question

yes and no. the factory tachs are pretty rare, a regular gauge cluster can be found pretty cheap at any junkyard...at least around here anyways.

Which junk yards? I'm looking for some parts for my truck and can't find any in the yards east of here.

Talking Re: tach gauge cluster question

If it has the tach in it buy it if it's right price for you. You can refurb every thing in it.

Get out and drive the truck this summer and have some fun!
It sucks not being able to hear!

LWB trucks rule, if you don't think so measure your SWB!
After talking to tech support at Air Lift I have found out that the kit I need is 60811. Per the measurements I gave them. Ride height of truck inside spring and inside diameter of springs.

Re: tach gauge cluster question

The one I can get looks a little to be a bit more rusty. How do you refurbish rusty gauge faces amnd needles?
