Man it will not see color for a while. I'm still working on the minor details.lol Things like panel alignment.

Put the the dynamat in today,the foil is as sharp as a razor if you run your finger over it.Use a glove if you plan to use your hand instead of the roller!!

It's definetly worth the effort to put it down. It will really make a difference in stopping the heat and making the cab sound that much more solid. Did you put any in the doors? After putting it in mine it made a dramatic difference in how solid the doors sound when you close them.

It looks like you did a door latch mod without giving up the info!

I changed the door latches right after i got the truck,after slamming the doors repeatedly just to get them to close i had to change the stock latch.Well made product and very easy to install and the doors finally close the first time!!

Hey Candyx

How difficult was it to do the door latches? I just went to the Trique site and they look awesome. My truck is painted and I don't want to mar up the paint ... is it possible? I have to slam the doors to get them to close. Will these latches pull the doors close even with brand new rubbers that aren't
relaxed yet?

Thats how my doors were,the part of the door you have to cut gets covered with the chrome cover.I used a grinder with a thin wheel to cut the opening out,if you take your time it shouldn't be a problem.I didn't have a air jig saw which might be easier to work with and less heat build up.The door trim panel also has to be cut right where it bends into the door jam.So you should have no problem not marring up the paint.These latches are bear claws so once you close the door and it trips the door is closed.My doors aren't fitted well to say the lease,so i have to shut the door firmly for the latches to work.So these latches work well i think even if your door is not the best fitting door,one closing and thats it no more slaming the door 4 or 5 times.They have a video on their site showing how they work on a old truck but the door was fitted prefect before paint,and when you do that then these latches almost close by themselves.They were well worth the money and i don't have to worry if the door will fly open from those old fashion stock latches.

Fab up a shroud to support the fan instead of using the the fins to support the fan.It was hard finding a fan to fit is the space i had left between the engine and fan.

Thanks to all,been trying to do it right but i have to say i did pick up alot of detail and information here on this board.It also helps when others share information and photos for others to learn from.

Had to fab up a bracket for the neutral safety switch that i have to mount to the cable bracket on the steering wheel.No room on the trans to mount it so the column was the only spot left.

It fits and seams to work,won't know until it gets wired but the switch is depressed when the truck is in park.

Almost done with the painless wiring and gauges,working under the dash is not so painless but a pain in the a**.Vintage Air lines are done especially the ones in the cab,another story about 20 lbs of s**t in a 5 lb bag.Everything is very tight under the dash.

Thanks to all,its finally close to throwing a battery in it and turning the key to see if it works,LOL.My first wiring job so i hope the sparks and flames don't get that high when i turn the key.

A friend gave me a tip many years ago about putting power to a new wiring job. I used it when I put the Ron Francis panel in mine. What he told me was not to use the full power of the battery the first time, but to use a battery charger on the lowest AMP setting. That way you still get 12 volts without the full amperage of a bttery to test it with. It worked for me!
