Question 95 Suburban acting up

So I'm posting this for a friend, I'll do my best to give y'all as much information as I can.

So this morning I get this text message asking me "What would cause it to backfire and have trouble accelerating over 40 after it warms up?"

The Suburban in question is a 1995 1500 with the 350tbi motor and a 4L60, she has a little over 250K on the clock.

He says the power loss and backfire only happen after the Suburban warms up, so the first 10 or 15 minutes in the morning it runs right.

What do you guys think?

O2's.

And how long has it been since he had a good tune up?

Don't forget the coil is part of a tune up.

Re: 95 Suburban acting up

It has not had a complete tune up since he has had it, about a year. A few months ago I put a new coil, cap/rotor on it.

Is there anyway to test an O2? Being TBI, IIRC it should only have one O2 on the driver side, right?
