Size:  78.4 KB here are some pics of my bed. its from south carolina so rust is not a problem. everthing including all the crossmembers are exc. i'm just not sure if i want a stepside or fleetside. i have access to a complete fleetside, but its not cheap... any sugg.

I'm a fan of the step beds myself.That said,You should build what you want.

Confused, welcome to my world, lol.

My son has a swb fleet he just finished building so we are building me a swb stepper.

I have always liked steppers since my first truck way back in 1962 was a stepper. It was a '56 F-2 lwb stepper. Over the years I have owned, other than the F-2, a 65 swb stepper, a 67 swb stepper and a 71 lwb stepper. Of course I also owned a '71 lwb fleet and a '72 lwb stepper. I even have a fleet/stepper - 92 K-3500 duallie.

I guess the bottom line is go with which ever bed you like.

I always wanted to build one truck with both beds...all painted and everything.

Then, if I ever got the notion to build another truck, I'd go out and change beds to get me out of the mood.

Those steps look like long step bed steps. Don't see too many long bed steppers around.
