82 gmc stepside box ??
Was wondering if a set of bedsides and steps for a 69 chevy stepside will bolt on the box off of a 1982 gmc stepside? Just wanting to make sure!!

I think the boxes are the same through 87 but the fenders mounting holes are spaced differently. You can count on drilling some new ones.

There are a few things different, steps, tail light mountings, rear cross sill, fender holes, but you can make them work. Check the FAQ section, there is a writeup on using a 73-87 bed on these year trucks.
