Duallies
Did they make any stock dually C/30's or were they converted? Cause I saw a nice looking flatbed that was a dually and the truck was a 1972. I am thinking of trying to get it from him cause the truck has never been moved since I saw it sitting there. It is beside my friends house and said it runs.

Yes i'm 99% sure that there were indeed dually c-30's

GM has been building duallie trucks for a long, long time. I think what you're really asking is whether GM built duallie pickups? Not until 1973.
I can tell you that GM definately made 1972 C30 duallie trucks, as I own two, but they are NOT pickups. They all came from the factory as half-naked Cab-and-Chassis trucks or stakebody flatbeds. If I remember correctly, they came with 133" or 157" wheelbase. Check my link for an unupdated buildup of my 222" wb truck.

That is 100% correct.
Also, the rear axle on the cab chassis duallie was not as wide as the pick ups of later years. |
