Air bag pinch

Hey guys,

This one might be an easy one for Yall, When aired up the bags look good but when aired out they wrap over the the bottom bracket. Is there some kind of fix to this??

If i rotate the bottom bracket 180 then the bag is stretched out when aired up.
as in case of 3rd Photo...

Re: Air bag pinch

It appears like the top mount (bag surface) needs to be more parallel with the bottom mount surface. Some angle difference is unavoidable due to the fact the suspension travels in a arch, but I have never seen that much mis-alignment when aired out. Were the mounts store bought from a vendor?

Re: Air bag pinch

The upper bag mount welded to the frame is from full tilt suspension, the rest of the parts are from speedway, The lower bag bracket has a beveled angle to the bottom that holds to the lower a-arm.

Re: Air bag pinch

Not sure it's a good place to mix and match vendors.

Could you redrill the lower mount, slide it in further to more like directly under the upper? Will the shape of it where it appears to sit in the lip of the control arm allow that?
