Anyone use LMC's Brake Line Package?
I know this has been a popular dicussion lately, But I am ordering a $1000 of parts from LMC tht qualifies for free freight. I need a Brake line kit and wondered if LMC's brake line kit is any good? Since Im getting free freight and the brake line kits ship oversize I figured it'd be a good time to get one.

I ordered the stainless steel brake lines from LMC. They fit fine going to the rear. The front did not conform to the cross member quite as well as the originals and I had to work with it a bit, but everything hooked up fine. I haven't actually driven it yet.

Side note: The kit worked great except for the rear end. The box had the lines for a 1/2-ton 10-bolt instead of a 3/4-ton Eaton. When I called LMC, they said, "If that's what came, then that's what's in the kit." I installed steel lines back there until I could call Inline Tube...which I still haven't done. Probably should get on that.

Re: Anyone use LMC's Brake Line Package?
Whats worse is that Inline buys this kit from Right Stuff
Talk about walking the long way around the block! I have the full stainless kit on my truck - fwiw I would not run SST lines again - way to hard to get to seal - the amount of torque it takes to crush the line for a good seal is alot - They do look nice

Re: Anyone use LMC's Brake Line Package?
I bought the ss lines from them a couple years ago. They fit well on a frame off project truck that is now gone. Actually just bought steele lines from them a few days ago for my ochre truck.Fit was excellent...I rebuilt the whole system.Just got the prebent lines from LMC.I work in KC some and easy access for me.
I've bought tons of stuff from them..never had problems so far.I heard some others aren't so fortunate.

Re: Anyone use LMC's Brake Line Package?
LMC is nothing more then a drop shipper from same suppliers you can go to they charge you double what you can buy it for directly. I figured that out on a wire harness they used american autowire price was double what buying it directly from American Autowire. I also bought the brake line kit it's from inlinetube.com at double the price. I know this is an old thread just so new people don't get screwed by LMC. That's why their catalog doesn't show you the manufacture of the part. They make it easy to find everything but body panels I got from LMC none fit correctly.
